Joy Is On The Way

Oh please, oh please, don’t cry

This dry land will become

A blooming garden

Oh please, lift up your eyes

You’ll see the Sun will rise

On the horizon

Remember the days of your youth

Remember every promise to you

This is not the end

It’s just a chapter in the story

Joy is on the way

Oh please, oh please, remind

Yourself of all the things

He placed inside you

It’s worth enduring the fight

To see the great unfolding of your

destiny

Remember the days of your youth

Remember every promise to you

This is not the end

It’s just a chapter in the story

Joy is on the way

You will see the hand

That has formed your being

You will hear the voice

That has called your name

And He will say that joy is on the

way

Joy is on the way

The future will be bright

All of your tears will dry and hope

will triumph

The day will soon arrive

When all your suffering will be

behind you
